Jersey personal tax

Collect, prepare and file Jersey personal tax returns in one place

Jerenta gives your practice a client portal in your own name, a checklist that chases the documents for you, and a workspace where every return is prepared, reviewed and approved before it is filed with Revenue Jersey.

  • Your own instance, database and subdomain
  • Your firm's name, logo and colours throughout
  • Hosted in the UK and EU

Built around how a Jersey return actually gets done

Three problems every practice has in the run-up to the deadline, handled by the platform rather than by inbox archaeology.

Clients answer once

A guided intake covering all fifteen sections of the return, saved as they go, in language a client can follow. A spouse or civil partner can be invited to contribute to the same return without sharing a login.

Documents arrive without chasing

Each case gets a checklist of what is still needed. Clients upload securely against the item it belongs to, and both sides see the same list of what is outstanding.

Nothing is filed without review

Returns move from prepare to review to approve, with the status history kept. Only an approved return can be submitted to Revenue Jersey.

How it works

  1. 1

    Invite the client

You send an invitation from the portal. The client sets their own password and lands on their dashboard. If you would rather nobody arrived any other way, self-registration can be switched off so invitations are the only way in.

  2. 2

    They complete their return

The client works through the guided sections and uploads the documents on their checklist. Your team can see progress and raise information requests as they go.

  3. 3

    You prepare, review and file

A preparer works the case, a senior reviewer approves it, and the approved return is submitted to Revenue Jersey. Every step is on the record.
